It takes a Village...
From start to finish it takes 5 to 8 person/hours or more to install a hive and source new bees for students and honey production. New, basic hive boxes and hardware are a few hundred dollars. Each hive is tended lovingly and requires around 15 hours per season to keep bees healthy, to extract honey and deliver it to table or market. With your donation, we are able to do this. All donations are put back into keeping bees healthy. With your donation of $50 or more you may pick up a beautiful jar of honey. With your donation of $100 or more we will provide a jar of honey and admission to our hive tour in the spring!
