Oregon Honey and Mead Festival 2025! Saturday, Sept. 13 ~ 11am - 6pm

 Taste the sweetness of Oregon Honey and Mead!  Festival guests should prepare to be delighted by the beauty of one of Southern Oregon's oldest and most historic wineries.  Located in the rolling hills of Medford, near Phoenix, Oregon and minutes from highway 99 and Rogue Valley International Airport (MFR), Edenvale is Family friendly with plenty of space to walk the grounds around the mansion, enjoy music and sample honey while 21+ may purchase mead at the mead garden. This is a fundraiser for Cascade Girl Organization's kids and veterans' programs.
Guests will park and enter at Edenvale's south entrance.  Attendees will learn about pollinators, the science of taste, native plants, honey bee health, soil, seed, healthy flower forage and other components of habitat health.      Â
Starting at 11:15 demos include "Tasting Honey Like a Sommelier with Flying Bee Ranch's Delsey Maus and Sharon Schmidt, an update on the Cascade Girl veteran program, Bee Heroes America with Sgt. Paul Davitt (r) and a talk about night time pollinators by Xerces Ambassador, Dave Kollen, "Creatures of the Night".
There will be music by the Danielle Kelly Quartet, Mountaintop Sound and Shybo and the Twisted Vines. There will be a mead garden with three of the best Oregon Mead producers, artists, native plant education, talks, honey sampling, honey for purchase, kids' activities and more.  Edenvale chefs will prepare foods for purchase and the Edenvale Tasting Room will be open. First Nations People with tribal ID and US veterans with Military ID attend without cost. Kids 12 and under attend free with a parent. $20 at the Gate.
